-Focused on movement *not* the physical parts of a bird
-"Non-represenational" Art, which means it doesn't represent the bird, just it's flight/movement.
-Sold in 2005 for $27.5 Million
-Involved in a court battle when brought to the US. Customs wanted to tax it because they said it wasn't Art. Art is not subject to custom taxes. So they taxed it according to metal objects which ended up being over $2,800. (40% of sale price) The court was put under pressure from the press and artists so they settled on taxing it as a kitchen utensil.
